About Vermont State
Vermont is a state in the northeastern part of the United States. Interestingly, Vermont is not one of the original 13 states in the US. Instead, it was added as the 14th state after having considered itself its sovereign state. It is the second-least populated state in the United States. Its capital, Montpelier, is the least-populated state capital in the country.
Vermont broke off from New Hampshire during the Revolutionary War and was the first of any of the states to abolish slavery. Its annual economic activity is the lowest of any state in America, including Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico. It was the first state to recognize civil unions for same-sex couples.
Vermont DOC Inmate Search
Step 1: Vermont’s inmate search system is called JailTracker. Fill out the CAPTCHA to validate that you are a real human being and not a robot scouring the internet for data. The CAPTCHA is a bit tricky so you might have to try it a few times.
Step 2: On the next screen is a list of every inmate in the state, and you can scroll through the page. To make it easier, you can also search through the data. Simply type in the first and last name or the alias for the last name.
Step 3: You will be presented with a list of all the inmates who matched your search. Click on the one that seems most likely to be who you are looking for.
Step 4: You will now get the full inmate information. Unfortunately, this information rarely includes a mug shot. But it will tell you where that inmate is serving their time. You will also get their booking date.
As a first requirement, you have to agree to the disclaimer. After that, you also have the opportunity to search the Vermont sex offenders list. You can do this either by name, if you have it, or by your geographic area. You will also have to click a link indicating you will not use the information to harass or stalk anyone.
Once you have entered either an address or a name, you will get a list. This list will include mugshots so you can be certain it is the person you are looking for. Simply click on their name to be taken to their full profile.
Vermont does not have a most wanted list that is government supported. This may be because the state is so small that there is no need for one.
